Waterfront Homes in Rockville, SC

Located at the tip of Wadamalaw Island in Charleston County, the unique village of Rockville is characterized by its large oaks, dirt roads and lovely waterfront views. Due to its location on a stretch of Bohicket Creek, Rockville provides opportunities for water sports on a current that is unusually strong. A variety of single-family homes are available throughout the village, with many dating back to the 1700 and 1800’s. The oldest of these homes is the Whaley house, which was erected on or before 1780. Most of the older homes were originally built as summer homes. While they are not elaborate, several are found along the water front and boast numerous windows and wide piazzas.
